26 Sep 2009, NF100 30km progressive run.
Attendee : Calvin, Ernest, Teck Khing, Chan Hua, William and Botak
Pon-tang : shao chong, yu hong, li bin , roger (lucky fellows, don't have to suffer)

Run start at 8am, unlike august progressive run, this morning was hot and humid. To give us a 下马威, NF make us tackle the tough Bukit Timah nature reserve trail first. By the time we reached 1st water point at 10.5km, it was 1hr:40 and we were 3/4 beaten.

At 20km(3h:04m), william was about to give up and take a cab back, we pestered him on with a impromptu break at the new Macritche park cafe. The 20 minutes break at the cafe do helps to mend our bruise egos. The carnato ice cream was heavenly sent. Chan Hua was down with cramped and decided to call it a day.

Ernest, William and Botak press on our for the last 10km. The inclines by now became a blessing, because we will just walked whenever we hit a slope no matter how mellow it was. Botak had the honour of being the last to complete 30km in 4h:59m.

Deju-vu
Last progressive run, lead runner got lost, so today no lead runners (still not found??). Guess what got lost this round? Sign boards! A few sign boards at crucial turning points were missing, according to NF they were stolen! so some runners including our Teck Khing got lost again!!

This run nobody brought camera, the few pictures were taken by my cheap cheap nokia phone after the run.

My reliable buddy, William
Ernest, making a wrong turn at 15km and end up doing a total of 35km :))
Calvin, our fastest! waited for us for more then an hour at finish line
